Want your children to be involved in the Our Biennale Magnificent Me Piazza Parade celebrations on 2nd July but don't know how? It's not too late!

Here's a lovely activity, involving poetry and making an amulet (full of magic) to do at home with your children. Make the amulet and bring it to the event. Meet the guardian of the amulets and add yours to the installation 🙂

Our Biennale's theme this year is 'Magnificent Me!'

Musicians, artists, theatre-makers, writers and choreographers are working with schools, colleges and communities to enable children and young people make their very own remarkable pieces of music, art, theatre and dance.

Supporting well-being and self-expression, the work created for this year's festival will be celebrated in the Magnificent Me Piazza Parade on Saturday 2nd July in Huddersfield

3,000 children and young people across Kirklees took part in the Our Biennale festival. Their remarkable work was exhibited at the Our Biennale Finale on 19th and 20th June in Huddersfield town centre, which was opened by the Mayor of Kirklees and featured on ITV Calendar!

Enjoy the sculptures, music, sound walks, dance, artwork, films, and photographs that were displayed, bringing together the wonderful work the younger generation created over this past year juggling school, lockdowns, and isolations
