Hi - a bit of a random request please, but is there a historical archive anywhere of people of Huddesrfield in the performing arts? A line of my family (the Brownhills) came from around the area and I have a hand written song/music book featuring a JT Brownhill who was a a female impersonator. The images look like early 1900s, but I can't track down any information on him and how he links to the family. Any help gratefully received. Thanks
A play about joy and heartbreak, quarries and transmat beams…

👇 Our friends at Huddersfield Thespians are back and have been busy in the rehearsal room preparing for their next performance, Teechers by John Godber.
The riotous, fast-moving and highly entertaining schooldays comedy is jam packed with hilarious (and embarrassing!) moments about the new drama teacher and his perilous first days inside a comprehensive school.
