As well as the first day of Artweek, this Sunday will also be the 40th anniversary of Holmfirth Duck Race, with activities starting from 11am at Sands Recreation Ground and the ducks launching around 2pm.
We think ducks and art make a wonderful combination for a day out, but if you are coming to Artweek this Sunday, please be aware that parking in Holmfirth can get very busy with both of these events on. We recommend car sharing or using public transport when possible.
If you'd like to see these cute little ceramic ducks made by Lynn Norwood, along with the work of over 400 other artists, you'll find them at The Civic, Holmfirth, open 10am - 5pm this Sunday.
