THE LOGO - I'ts been 4 years since I started Loughman's Lettering, in late Aug 2020, and it's come a long way.

The first photo is my desk set up at the time - literally a tea towel over the kitchen table to catch any ink spills!

2 - This is the hand drawn logo that I initially designed for the company. It took a bit of practice getting the lettering to fit a circle!

6 - In 2023, I decided to upgrade my branding and logo design. My lettering had improved so much since my first logo design

10 - My current business sign - which doesn't have my website on! 🤦‍♀️ as I hadn't set it up then, so that's something I need to update at some point.

It's so lovely looking back and seeing how things have improved. It's so easy to wish for a successful business right away, but these things take time - a concept that has taken me years to realise as only now can I see my progress 🥰

After having an 8 month break from showcases to have my 2nd baby boy, Archer, I was really nervous heading to the other week.

We had packed the whole family in the car in case Archer needed a feed as it would be the longest time I'd left him.

After working only from home with very little styling/setup work this year, it seemed like I'd been out of the wedding world in person for so long.

My hands were actually shaking whilst setting out these placecards, as I felt the imposter syndrome creeping in again.

But Kat welcomed me back so warmly, as did Cheryl , Sophie .co, Jordan & Louise .

It was so lovely to be remembered and feel like the time I had had away hadn't impacted my supplier relationships.

Meeting new suppliers such as , & was wonderful too, it made me realise just how much I missed doing showcases!

💙💙💙 Maybe it's all the babies I am surrounded by at the minute! As a little side project, I have been creating some baby related prints, and I thought I'd introduce these ones first. These can be customised for any name, in any colour, and can be bought as individual prints or as a set of 3.

Is it just ME who always zones in to when the food is coming at a wedding! It's the best bit! ...After the ceremony, of course 🏩

This is one of two, pretty much identical, pallets that I hire out. - I can deliver it to you or the venue, or you can collect & drop off to me.

The size is 80x80cm and fits in pretty much most cars, so it is the perfect size for a statement order of the day.

It is sanded and restained and rewritten for each wedding.Therefore, it can say any phrase you like for your order of the day!

Hi! 👋 I am here! I'm in crazy mummy mode most of the time at the minute, but I am here!

I'm Louise, I live in Huddersfield, I love the sun, chocolate & gin! I'm currently on maternity leave with my 3 month old, Archer, and looking forward to a crazy summer with both boys until my eldest, Rowan, starts school in Sep.

In the midst of feeds, naps, play time, and dealing with 4-year-old tantrums, I'm also working on lettering for August weddings and enjoying the relaxing downtime of doing my calligraphy.
