Two events that are just round the corner that we think you should come down to!

Make Music Day - ran by Huddesfield BID which is local bands playing in local venues (including us) but we arent just having a band on this Sunday from 4pm but we're also serving food from 12pm - 4pm that is music inspired so make sure to get down for a full day of events this weekend

Get your Geek on - Next week we're supporting Huddersfield BIDs event by putting on a Geeky quiz in the evening from 7pm which has prizes like steam cards, movie tickets at the Light, beer and more to be won! We'll also be bringing out lots of board games to be played by you all while you enjoy a pint and we're sticking our games machine in the main bar so you can play classic arcade games (and they're free to play!)

So dont waste the next two weekends and get yourselves down for food, music, quizzes, board games and more right here at the County

The jackpot rolls over......

Join us tomorrow night at a slightly early time with a start at 7:30pm due to the England game at 9pm

Another loss on the Play Your Cards Right means the jackpot rolls over yet again, the pictures show the distraught on some of the previous players

But it's not all about the money each quiz is a great laugh filled with humour and the odd heckles as well as different rounds to keep it unique

As well as the Play Your Cards Right jackpot we also have:

Chocolates for the best/weirdest team name
Beer vouchers for the quiz champs

And of course no County quiz is a proper County quiz without special cocktails and tomorrow is no different, Anais will be whipping up new ones for you to delve in

So get down nice and early so we can get cracking at 7:30, give yourself enough time to enjoy a cocktail or three and let the fun commence

We'll also have deals on for the England game so if you are coming to watch the game don't worry there will be space to sit in before the game while the quiz finishes

Bonjour, bon mardi

You all must know by now it's takeaway Tuesday which means one thing, all cans and bottles are 20% off ALL DAY!

But with France playing this evening we thought we would give this one a special mention... Trois Monts

This French beer is brewed by La Brasserie de St Sylvestre. Trois Monts translates as “The Three Mountains”. It is brewed by bottom-up infusion with Flemish hops and fermented with high yeast. It has a persistent and tight foam and a strong aroma. It is one of the most popular “bieres du garde” in France.

"Always fancied trying that bottle" Takeaway Tuesday is great for trying something new at a discounted price, who knows you might regret not trying them sooner!

You know here at the County we love our Belgian beers and guess who's playing in the World Cup this evening.......

So from 7pm and during the Belgium game which starts at 8pm all of the Belgian beers will be 20%, we can be nice sometimes

Join us a week today as we celebrate Make Music Day with a fantastic afternoon of food, music and fun in the town centre!

Starting the day, we'll have some top scran available from 12pm–4pm, with a menu full of dishes that are just as interestingly named as they are delicious!

Then from 4pm, we're delighted to welcome the wonderful Fishing 4 Compliments, bringing their unique blend of music and entertainment to round off the celebrations until 5pm. FREE ENTRY!

Whether you're popping down for a bite to eat, some live music, or simply to soak up the atmosphere, there's something for everyone.
