Lovelace Theatre Group Thank you for visiting and welcome along to the page of the Lovelace Theatre Group. We are The Hucknall Drama club was originally formed in the 1930's.

One of its members was Robin Bailey who later gained fame as an actor; appearing in many films and on television. Robin was a patron of the group until he died on 14th January 1999.

And last but not least, it's time for you to meet our Molly 👋

Molly, will be played by Bernie, our forever young great-granny!
Bernie is a familiar face at Lovelace and has been in many productions spanning almost two decades! Bernie says she is enjoying rehearsals for Lucky Sods and working with a nice group of people. Her take on this production is that it’s different, quick, slick, life in the raw and fun, with lots of characterisation and undercurrent issues. Bernie adds that there is a lovely mix of young and old strengths and talents.

Not long now until we open our curtains! 🤩
