🍺 The Choir of Man - UK Tour, Nottingham Theatre Royal, Review 🍺

The Choir of Man at Nottingham Theatre Royal is easily one of the biggest feel-good hits currently touring the UK, and it isn’t hard to see why audiences have fallen so hard for it. Part pub lock-in, part gig, part spoken-word performance and part communal singalong. The Choir of Man invites audiences into a fictional pub called The Jungle and asks them to spend an evening simply enjoying each other's company.

🚽 PUBLIC The Musical, CURVE theatre, Leicester Review 🚽

PUBLIC – The Musical at Curve Leicester takes four strangers and locks them inside a gender-neutral public toilet. Following award-winning runs at VAULT Festival and Edinburgh Fringe, Hannah Sands and Kyla Stroud's pop-rock musical comes with plenty of buzz behind it. The question is whether this Fringe success can make the jump to a larger producing house without losing the intimacy that made it work in the first place.

💵 Bank of Dave: The Musical Review – Curve Leicester 💵

Bank of Dave has all the swagger of a pub singer grabbing the mic after six pints and deciding tonight is their night. This musical is proudly Northern and determined to leave audiences grinning, throwing every crowd-pleasing mechanism imaginable at the audience: karaoke energy, b***y comedy, and a heavy helping of anti-London sentiment. But beneath all the chanting, dancing and cheering, is there actually enough substance in the account?
