The Second Hoylake & Meols Medieval Festival!

Step back in time and join us for an afternoon of medieval merriment, music, and mayhem!

Enjoy a host of medieval entertainments for all ages, including:

⚔️ A grand medieval procession
🎶 Traditional music and dancing
🎯 Medieval games and challenges
🛠️ Historical crafts and demonstrations
👑 A fancy dress parade – come dressed as a knight, lady, monk, peasant, or jester!
🎭 A lively medieval play
🍞 Refreshments available throughout the day - please bring cash

Whether you are a noble lord, a wandering pilgrim, or a curious villager, there is something for everyone at this celebration of our medieval heritage.

Godfrey will be at the Hoylake & Meols Medieval Festival on Saturday 6th June. His remedies are swift, his saw is sharp(ish), and his success rate is spoken of in whispers by those fortunate enough to remain conscious.

If you like watching there’s lots to see

If you like dressing up, get your medieval princess or knight costume on … join the parade if you want

If you have kids, there are games and join in activities for them

If you like having a go, you can do that too

If you are interested in medieval history, come and meet the medieval surgeon, enjoy medieval entertainment and medieval themed craft stalls
