My oh my - we miss theatre so much. The idea of sitting down in a crowded auditorium, buzzing with the anticipation of what you're about to see, seems so out of reach. We diversify, of course. Humans are good at that. Outside spaces and theatre online have their place - but that moment as the house lights dim, the audience go quiet, just before the first actor walks on stage, the promise and the risk. That sort of moment... is what we dream of at Smoke&Mirrors.

It's a dreary, rainy day and I'm at my laptop writing. It's going slowly and I keep getting distracted. Sometimes when its hard its good to go for a walk or make a cup of tea and sometimes you need to crack on and break through the block. Then I reminded myself of this.
