Hangleton Community Centre Located in Harmsworth Crescent, Hangleton BN38BW It is also home to a number of community groups that provide these activities.

Fully inclusive community centre with Clothes bank, Laundry facilities, Spaces for hire including Main hall and Meeting rooms, Party venue including Bouncy Castle and 3 tier soft play. The community centre is a friendly busy place providing community facilities for local residents to take part in a variety of activities. There is something here for everyone! We know that asking people to come to meetings isn't always easy, so we're trying something different.

This is a new copy of the Hangleton Newsletter, created by the Community Engagement - Brighton & Hove City Council team in collaboration with Hangleton Community Centre St Helen's Church, Oasis Community Shop and your local ward councillors.

What’s happening next?
There are already some exciting improvements taking place, including:

🌿 Environmental improvements to green spaces around Harmsworth Crescent
🌱 New planting and improvements to communal areas
🪴 Opportunities for residents to get involved in community gardening
🌳 Improvements around Sherbourne Close
🤝 More opportunities to bring residents together

There are also plans for a community garden, giving residents the chance to get involved and help make our neighbourhood greener and more welcoming.

A chance to meet neighbours, enjoy some refreshments and find out more about local services and activities.

💬 Community Conversations on Alcohol and Drugs
An opportunity for residents to talk openly about issues affecting our community and find out about available support.

These sessions are open to everyone and provide a safe space to talk about local concerns, access information and support, and help improve quality of life in our neighbourhood.
