For those who haven't heard the news yet, unfortunately, we have found it necessary to withdraw the One Good Friday event which we had hoped to deliver in April 2023.

We are very thankful to being able to put up one of our crosses in the town on Good Friday. Many people came by and prayed during the day.

We look forward to having all 3 crosses up for One Good Friday in 2022!

The Wintershall actors have been busy filming a new 'Encounters with Jesus’ series.

These will be ready and available to book online for free at the beginning of October, so watch this space.

Suitable for both schools and community groups, you can all now experience the story of Christianity through drama from the comfort of your own classroom or online meeting at home.

We finish our week of clips from the Life of Christ, with one of the most memorable moments for audience and cast alike - The Feeding of the 5000: https://www.wintershall.org.uk/life-christ

Not unlike Jesus’ healing miracles, his feeding of the 5000 shows his compassion of human beings and their needs.

Jesus cared for the people in their hunger and demonstrated his love for them, and the miracle also reveals the presence of the Kingdom of God.

The video is rounded off with a moment of reflection from our director Ashley.

This scene from the Life of Christ tells a story of unconditional love and forgiveness.

Through this story we are reminded that each person is precious to God, even if we sometimes lose our way. The return of one who is lost will always be welcomed and celebrated, and sins forgiven.

Healing played a large part in Jesus' ministry.

What was the purpose of Jesus’ healing miracles? They displayed the divine power of Jesus and attested that He was indeed the Son of God.

Jesus used his miraculous healings as a proof that he had authority to forgive sins and that he was moved by compassion for those in need.

Therefore, today we remember how Jesus wanted to respond to true human needs and always help us.
