Hiya Guys!
First of all, a massive thanks to those of you who have been in over the last month, last week was one of the busiest we've had in the 24 years we've been here!
Secondly, A word on aftercare...
If you're lucky enough to be visiting our fine town for your holibobs, bear in mind that looking after a fresh tattoo means no swimming or hot-tubs, so book in with us on your last day, or take the kiddies swimming early on in the week. (The sooner you get in touch, the more spaces we will have) - Also - it's good practice to keep fresh tattoo's out of bright sun while they heal (- speaking of good practice, always look after your ink and the rest of your skin with sun cream)!
Lastly, we get the same call and question daily "Do you do walk-in's?"
The answer is always "It depends when you walk in!" if we're sat doing nothing, or just finishing up a piece, yeah! we can see you :) if you rock up at 4:30 and want a full back piece when I'm supposed to be meeting my beautiful wife for a drink after work? nah.
The ideal call for us is very descriptive, example:
"Hiya, any chance of a small butterfly on my wrist, couple of colours, nothing too complicated, about an inch across?"
- "Yep! can you pop in at 2? I'm just finishing up one, and I've got another one booked in at 3."
-"Lovely, see you at 2!"
-"Smashing, what's your name?"
-"Rita."
_"See you at 2 Rita!"
If my day was like that it'd be sunshine and lollipops all day every day! :)
NOT:
"My wife wants a taa-ooo. 'ow much is it?"
Without a clear idea of size, detail, colour, placement, we GENUINLEY have no idea. we're not being rude, but... C'mon... spill the beans old chap, does wifey want a backpiece? sleeve? small name on her wrist? vagazzle?? (ugh, that stirred some memories...π€£)
Help us to help you, we do our best, but we can only work with what we have from you.
BIG HUGS! enjoy the summer, Silly season is about to start in Hornsea, you won't see much of us, when you do, buy us a beer!π
Now go do something lovely ..
Jim Out π
