Hi there, it's been a while since I last posted. Honestly have not been feeling that inspired to post since and honestly it hasn't even been a year yet since then so I guess it's okay. But I started journaling recently so I want to show a few favourite spreads from my sketchbook. I incorporate drawings as well as memory scraps for some spreads too.

I haven't even used any of my cameras in a while either :/

This spread is based on a little charity concert me and dad were both invited too as you can see in the post it note hehe. So I decided to do a little sketch on the left to fill the spread to be honest, no other reason. The quote, I mean it's a valid statement right?

We had 2 tickets of course so I just cut the LOVE from the other and stuck it above my sketch.

This spread displays cut out bits from an old birthday card given by mum 'Mama' back in '15. I decided to keep it here.

She would even give me cards for Valentine's Day hehe, which is sweet honestly.

Damn I do miss her still.

This spread, I used a poem that was given to mum from a friend actually then she gave it to me as she knows I like little random stuff like this so yeah.

I hope soon I'll be more consistent again here and hope everyone's been well too.

"Reminisce"

Latest shots from film cam, been enjoying this cam more nowadays while my creative spark for drawing has not come back yet.

I did use my SLR for a family friend's birthday but just for respect I'm not sure of posting them on here. We'll see, I'll give it a think 🤔

For now enjoy these hehe, the only editing I did with a few are just unblurring using my :) the rest of the colour was from the film itself, pretty right?

'Still here for me' (poem by me)
Written a month ago...

Soon it will be just 6 months since your passing, and we still go through how complicated 'grief' can be. There are bad and good days we experience but still it's like you're still here.

I wrote this entry when I was in the garden as I listened to your favourite songs and made me breakdown.

I then took pictures of the garden through my film camera, and remembered that I managed to capture shots or vids of you spending your moments there when your condition was not as bad yet.

Hence why I decided to do what I used to do back in uni, incorporating text with photographs. It was nice to do it for this post at least.

Hi there 🫣 👋🏼

Have not posted in so long on here ever since, well it's understandable right considering what my last posts featured? So I was actually asked before that event to do some commissions then 2 others a bit later on (on the last post of this thread). It did take a while to get the last 2 done as life happened of course. 💔

Now that my client has finally posted them on their story then I can reveal them here :)

This one was of course 1/3 requested commissions, for their friend's birthday I think?

The last 2 posts feature a theme of illustrations for my client's 1st year anniversary presents for their partner, they really liked the 1st one I did for their friend so they requested these too ♥️ so cute, I was so happy to do them.
