We are pleased to share that a cultural assets commission, spearheaded by Arts Council England and Devon local authorities, has begun work to better understand and advocate for Devon's cultural assets through this restructure.

Fantastic opportunity for Devon performers with new work - apply by the deadline tomorrow for a 15-minute performance slot on Friday 18th September in East Devon!

From Devon With Love Bitesize 2026 - Artist Call Out

We are looking for Devon-based artists and companies to apply for a 15-minute scratch slot at a From Devon With Love Bitesize event, taking place in East Devon on Friday 18th September 2026.

Scratch is a chance to share early-stage, unfinished work with a live audience and get genuine feedback. It is not about presenting a polished final product - it is about testing ideas, having conversations, and finding out what is working.

We would love to hear from you if you are a Devon-based artist or company working in live performance - whether that is theatre, dance, music, spoken word, or something that does not fit neatly into a single category - and developing new work that would benefit from being shared with a supportive audience.
What you get:

A 15-minute performance slot on Friday 18th September in East Devon
A performance fee of between £150 and £200
Audience feedback on your work
A 30-minute one-to-one follow-up with a producer from our team
An introduction to community touring and the Villages in Action network

Deadline to apply: Thursday 9th July at 10am.

Apply here: https://forms.gle/DfPnKdS3jxuNExGu6

Prefer not to fill in a form? You can submit a short video (no longer than 3 minutes) answering the same questions, emailed to [email protected]
