How beautiful is this upcycled unit created by Heather from Well Water Wishes.

Upcycled Mid-Century Style Console Cabinet with Animal-Print Detailing.

This distinctive upcycled console unit combines mid-century modern form with bold, hand-finished animal-print surfaces, creating a striking statement piece suitable for living rooms, hallways, or boutique interiors.

The design features a low, elongated silhouette supported by four tapered wooden legs. The upper section comprises two raised rectangular compartments finished in leopard print, each fitted with a decorative metal handle. Between them sits a recessed central panel clad in a metallic snakeskin-effect finish, incorporating a small central drawer or compartment with a matching pull.

The lower section consists of a full-width drawer decorated in bold black-and-white zebra stripes, fitted with two clusters of warm orange beaded handles that provide a complementary accent.

The piece has been carefully restored and refinished, retaining the clean lines and proportions of mid-century furniture while introducing contemporary surface treatments. The combination of leopard, zebra, and snakeskin patterns delivers a cohesive yet playful aesthetic that elevates the unit beyond conventional storage furniture.

Ideal as a media console, hallway cabinet, or decorative sideboard, this upcycled piece offers both practical storage and strong visual impact. Its unique finishes ensure no two units are identical, making it a singular addition for those seeking characterful, sustainable furniture.

Do pop in for a look as we do have other upcycled furniture in-store too. We also have some units that are waiting to be upcycled and can be created to your specifications.

Our wool de-stash is very popular.

So much so, that one customer came all the way from Caernarfon, and another couple of ladies booked the day off work specifically to raid our wool.

We love hearing little stories like that.

If you're a knitter or crocheter then pop in for a rummage and get yourself a bargain.

Part rolls starting from 20p.
