Holmfirth Artweek

Holmfirth Artweek Raising money for the Kirkwood and Macmillan Cancer Support. 5th - 11th July 2026. Holmfirth Artweek is a local event with a national reputation.

Holmfirth Artweek is one of the largest open art exhibitions in the UK, with a main exhibition of 400+ artists' work and dozens of fringe venues in the surrounding areas. Most of the exhibitors are from the surrounding areas but visitors come from all over the country to view and to buy. It is astounding how much artistic talent there is locally and it is this that makes the event such a success a

nd brings so many visitors to Holmfirth every year. The main exhibition for Holmfirth Artweek usually runs in Holmfirth Civic Hall from the first Sunday in July, however this has been cancelled for 2021. We will have the Fringe Trail, 3rd - 10th July 2021. These are Fringe venues around the Holme Valley, and Colne Valley that display and sell even more art and craft. Each of these will have their own individual opening hours, full details of which can be found on our website. A minimum of 20% of all sales during Holmfirth Artweek are donated to charity - split between national and local causes.

Our Guide is a full colour A5 booklet with all of the information you need to know about Holmfirth Artweek and the Fringe.
It's given out for free at the main exhibition and Fringe venues during the event, and we distribute copies around the region in the month beforehand to help promote the event.
It will end up in the hands of Holmfirth locals, visitors from around Yorkshire and further afield - particularly those with a strong interest in art and craft.
If you're interested in placing an advert in our Guide, please contact [email protected] by 15th March.
