Feels great to be back!

Have to admit to a few nerves ahead of performing at my first wedding in over 18 months but I needn’t of worried. Really looking forward to a busy few months performing at some long awaited weddings for some very patient brides & grooms to be.

Good Evening All. Firstly, I apologise for the radio silence but as you can imagine, on the magic front things have been very quiet. In January, I had 30 weddings booked in for 2020 and just 3 went ahead (pre covid). That’s 27 couples I know of that have had to make amendments to their big days, it must have been so disappointing for them and potentially devasting for the many wedding suppliers involved, albeit for different reasons.

Don’t worry, I’m not here to create another depressing post and force my thoughts upon you as to what has happened, I think we can all agree 2020 has been pretty terrible!

On a more positive note I am really pleased to say that I have been able to accommodate 24 couples new wedding dates, some in 2021 and others in 2022. All weddings are unique and so I can only imagine how much work went into trying to find a new date that all suppliers could accommodate, giving couples the day they had originally planned. Well done to those that pulled this off!

So, we all have to keep everything crossed that 2021 and beyond is kind to us and these dream days can go ahead. I can’t help but think next years weddings are going to be even more special, perhaps even bigger celebrations and I personally can not wait to be a small part of those days!

Last night I competed for the annual Scooter Memorial Trophy, a close-up card magic competition where magicians must repeat the same 5 minute card routine to over 10 tables with just 30 seconds to reset between performances and Im proud to report that I won!!!

Thank you to Orlando's Italian Restaurant for hosting & to all of those in the audience that took time out to come to watch & vote. What the audience doesn’t see is the hours of practice & work that goes into these routines so special thanks & well done to all of the other magicians that took part.
