So Jayne, what you been up to since panto finished??

Well, a fair amount of questioning my life choices, thinking about retirement and then.... remembering I love what I do and getting on with planning this year at JGM.

Soooo... I'm just going to leave this here.

It's happening,, I'm whisking everyone away, locking them in a rehearsal room for a week and teaching them what is actually involved in putting on a show. We're bringing choreographers, vocal coaches and acting coaches but we're not going to just sing, dance and act and rehearse a full musical in a week, we're going to teach set building. costume design, prop making and every other thing that goes into theatre production. (Oh, and added to that, our summer school participants can choose to audition for next year's panto during the week if they would like).

It will be aimed at school years 7-11.

We’d love your help in giving our pantomime its true fairytale ending.

Jayne Guest Music is a tiny production company run by a newly single mum of three, doing her best to make a mark in a big, busy industry full of established players. We might be small, but our hearts are huge — and so is our passion for creating unforgettable theatre.

We already have everything we need for a brilliant show:
✨ an amazing professional cast
✨ our wonderful juniors (some stepping into their very first professional role!)
The only thing missing… is you.

We don’t have the advertising budget of Lapland UK — we prefer to spend our money on what matters: the show itself. So we’re relying on our community to help spread the word.

Your child might already be seeing a school pantomime — most likely Aladdin (there are plenty around this year!) — but every pantomime is different, and we promise they’ll enjoy ours just as much.

Tickets start from just £15, and a portion of every ticket sold goes straight back to locally nominated schools and nurseries. You can even enjoy breakfast or dinner with Santa before the show, making it the perfect family day out.

This is our first year performing at Clonter Opera Theatre. With your support, we can return year after year, become part of your Christmas traditions, and keep giving back to local schools.

This isn’t just another advert — it’s a genuine, personal plea from a small company asking you to take a chance on the underdog. If you haven’t been to a panto in years, come and see what Jayne Guest Music magic feels like!

Every ticket sold truly helps… and yes, we do a little happy dance each time (not as well as the cast — but we try!).

Time to get on with meeting the cast, and what would Aladfin be without his Genie, played by the amazing Ostin Ronald-Price.

Ostin is Wirral Based Actor, who is an enthusiastic, driven and highly skilled in portraying characters with a confident and compelling stage presence. Passionate about consistently improving his craft by taking on a variety of Acting Roles, most recently playing Coach Bolton in High School Musical. He is excited to be playing the Genie in Aladdin and bringing his 'Pizazz' to the Clonter Opera Theatre this December!

I've been asked what the latest update on the school list is.....

leading the way by miles is Goostrey Primary School, followed by Quinta in Congleton. Smallwood is doing very well right now with its nominations. Other schools with more than one nomination:
