We're looking for a young performer to play Lily in Stevenage Lytton Players' upcoming production of The Great British Bake Off Musical, performing at the Stevenage Lytton Theatre from 21–24 October.

Lily is a featured role in the show. Playing age 10, she is the daughter of contestant Ben and appears in several scenes throughout the musical, including one of the show's most heartfelt moments. We're looking for a confident young performer who enjoys singing and acting and would like to be part of a fun, supportive company.

Rehearsals

Rehearsals will generally take place on Monday and Wednesday evenings, with occasional Sunday rehearsals. Lily will not be required at every rehearsal, and we'll make every effort to ensure commitments are spread sensibly and are not overbearing.

Auditions

Auditions will be arranged individually at a suitable time. If you know a young performer who may be interested, please get in touch to arrange an audition slot and find out more.

Depending on the number and availability of suitable auditionees, we may choose to share the role between two performers.

Safeguarding

The welfare of our young performers is a priority. The Director (Lewis), Musical Director and Choreographer all hold Enhanced DBS certificates. Parents and guardians are welcome to attend auditions and rehearsals, and we will work closely with families throughout the rehearsal process to ensure a safe, positive and enjoyable experience for all involved.

Join us at Woodside Hall in Hitchin on Saturday 4th July for a celebration of musical theatre under the baton of maestro, Hannah Long. Members of Hitchin Thespians, along with some talented guests, will be performing the concert with great gusto! 🎭

The Savoy Opera from 1889 tells the story of two charming gondoliers who discover that one of them is the long-lost heir to the throne of Barataria - but which one? 👑
