Hindolveston Crafts in Action

Hindolveston Crafts in Action Hindolveston is home to a talented group of people who demonstrate and sell their crafts. Saturday evening from 6.30pm to 9pm and Sunday from 10am to 4pm.

We hold 2 events each year - a demonstration day in August and a Christmas Craft Market in December. Our Christmas Craft Market, where everything on sale is made by the stallholder, is normally on the first weekend in December. But, sadly, not in 2020. We hope you will still find something hand crafted to love from the selection on our pages here.

This year we have four new demonstrators at our making day. The first of these is new village resident Joanna Whymark. Joanna is a self-taught maker of all things crocheted. Her blanket projects include stripes, 3-D florals and textured blocks whilst she also puts together seasonal floral wreaths. Joanna has taught crochet to both children and adults and can often be found somewhere along the North Norfolk coast sharing her joy of crochet.

It's only 2 weeks until our Crafts in Action Day at Hindolveston Village Hall. We have 14 crafters and artists demonstrating how they create their work. It's a varied selection including willow weaving, textiles, ceramics, leatherwork, ropework, glass and a violin maker! We'll introduce all our artists and artisans here over the next two weeks.
