Grumpy, particular, and quietly devoted, Trevor the Toad prefers a slower pace of life—and things done properly.

Hand knitted in beautifully soft yarn, with a rounded little body and the most wonderfully unimpressed expression, Trevor looks as though he has just settled onto his favourite lily pad, ready to watch the world go by (and occasionally pass judgement on it).

Trevor is not one for rushing. He enjoys still water, familiar places, and a good long sit in the sunshine. But beneath his rather stern exterior lies a romantic heart—he hasn’t seen Mrs Trevor since last spring, and so he waits, patiently and faithfully, with a small bunch of forget-me-nots beside him, just in case today is the day she returns.

Basil the Dog

Muddy, merry, and entirely devoted to the great outdoors, Basil the Dog is happiest when life is just a little bit untidy.

Hand knitted in tactile soft yarn, with his wonderfully tousled coat and endearingly hopeful eyes, Basil looks as though he’s just paused mid-adventure—most likely to check if it’s time for breakfast (it usually is).

Basil is loving, loyal, and endlessly friendly. He greets everyone as if they are already his best friend and firmly believes that the best days always involve three things: a good stick, a proper muddy puddle, and something delicious to eat afterwards.

He is, however, deeply suspicious of anything overly clean. Vacuum cleaners, freshly tidied rooms, and anything that smells faintly of polish are to be avoided at all costs. For this reason, Basil much prefers to be outside—padding through leaves, investigating hedgerows, and collecting treasures (sticks, mostly sticks).

If, like Basil, you find joy in fresh air, muddy boots, and the simple pleasures of life, he will be your most cheerful and loyal companion.
