I've been busy setting up and we arrange nearly there! Here are some big steps I've taken this month:
-made a website/social media pages
-installed a new floor
-painted the walls
-fixed a couple of things
-got the kiln in
-ordered all the furniture
-moved in all my tools/ equipment
-made the first pot in Hinckley Clay Studio

Not a bad show overall.
I'm using September to road test the space while I make my own work. Then i hope to open the work shops in October/November.

Today I:
-Got a quote for some flooring and booked in the work
-Stuck up some posters
-Set up a temporary desk with a little camping chair so I can get some admin sorted.
- Did some vital research into plumbing and clay traps
- found some potential desks
-Met some more neighbours

Day one!
I'm setting up at Graphic house and my morning has flown by.
The first job was to get rid of the carpet and figure out what was underneath. Now I need to decide what colour flooring to go with.
Once I have some flooring sorted I can move on to tables and shelving.
