Next White Horse Folk Club Wednesday 2nd September.
We welcome Mansfield Smith. We will give a money back guarantee if you don't find yourself foot tapping along to their music. Plenty of floorspots too. It's in the Main Church again , 7.30 start.

Many thanks to those of you who have responded to the request for a preference between the Church rooms and the Main Church.
Careful note has been taken and also noted are your suggestions for making the Church more folk club friendly if that option is adopted.
Our next WHFC is Wednesday 2nd of September and that will be in the Main Church as previously arranged.
A final decision will be available after 2nd September and before the WHFC meeting 16th September.

UPDATE RE STEPHEN BROOKE VOCAL EXAMINATION
Hi there, can we make you aware that our very talented member Stephen Brooke is undertaking a vocal qualification on Wednesday August 26th that involves a performance with a live piano accompanist. Stephen would welcome any support members can give by forming part of the audience. An audience can provide the vital atmosphere to inspire the performer and give life to the music.

If you can come along to support Stephen, the venue is St Andrews Methodist Church, 31 Moredon Rd, Swindon SN25 3DF, parking is available. The performance starts at 2.30 and is of course free of charge.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish Stephen a great performance and successful outcome!

Next White Horse Folk Club 19 August usual start time 7.30 but this time we are meeting in the Main Church as a trial to assess whether we should relocate to this venue permanently. We are trying this because we are having difficulty catering for the larger number of attendees safely. After this session we will ask for your feedback. Tea n Coffee will be available as usual. The entrance to the Church is on the South side and there is a passage through from the High Street or take the normal path from Sheep Street and keep to the left in the Curch yard. See you there and yes there is a piano!

Due to the clash with a national event which will be of great interest too many of our members White Horse Folk Club is cancelled for the 15th of July.
This decision reflects the uniqueness of the situation and hopefully will never need to be repeated as I am sure some members will be disappointed by the cancellation . Please inform others who might otherwise be unaware
