Our guests will be happy to know that they no longer need to trek through the deep dark woods to reach our toilet. It has now been sited just to the rear of the Activity Centre.
But is still a composting toilet.

Hi everyone, it has been a long while since I have been able to host astronomy events here at the Stonehaugh Activity Centre. Electrical issues and a drop in attendance after Covid had me doing events elsewhere around the Dark Sky Park, which was great fun.
But the electrics are now sorted and Covid is far behind us, so please help me by spreading the word.
I have just listed events for January, February and March, these are all Friday night events.
The venue isn't huge but I like to think it has attitude.

I’ve added a little bit of stone walling to the woods and levelled out some of the footpath with chippings.
Just need some foot traffic to flatten it out.

Today at the Activity Centre, Crafty Animal Encounters are having taster sessions, no need to book, just drop in and join in. A great opportunity to meet and learn about some rare breed animals.
If you’re in the area why not give it a try.
