WE ARE CLOSED FOR THE FORESEEABLE FUTURE

Unfortunately, as you may have seen reported, we have received significant damage to our roof and internally through no fault of our own.

The building is currently not safe for us to enter, and we are unsure on a timeline for repair.

We are massively thankful that no one was hurt and luckily no staff or customers were in the building at the time. Also thank you to the response from the Emergency Services.

Best luck to Bob’s Barbers and all other affected.

Hopefully we’ll see you all again soon

Today at Project Escape we have Team ‘Mensa’, made up of Christina, Xander, and Leo, here to attempt an escape from our Jailbreak room! ⛓️⛓️‍💥

Can these prisoners successfully free Xander from his private cell and escape from Reston Prison in one piece? This group have done a few escape rooms before, so hopefully their experience will benefit them. Let’s see how they did!

This team jumped right into the puzzle solving fun, cracking their first lock within minutes and keeping up the pace for the first half of the room. After freeing Xander from his cell, the group ran into a few issues when tackling the room’s harder puzzles, but with some big thinking, and a hint or two, they eventually managed to escape Reston Prison within the time limit!

In the end, Team ‘Mensa’ used their smarts to escape the room with 4 minutes left on the clock! ⏰ Great job guys! We’d love to see you all back soon to try one of our other rooms! For bookings and availability please visit www.project-escape.co.uk

Into Project Escape today we had Team ‘You Can’t Prove Anything Copper!!’ 👮‍♂️consisting of Sam, Nick & Donna entering Jailbreak⛓️

Donna was locked in seclusion for causing trouble⛓️ can her cell mates free her and escape before time runs out?! Let’s see how they got on!
With only Sam having a little experience behind him, his fellow inmates were relying on him for any insider information🔍
Starting off impressively, the trio needed no help as they cracked the first few puzzles in excellent time with no help needed!
Managing to free trapped inmate Donna with a good amount of time left, the group eventually came to a halt as a tricky puzzle had them scratching their heads. However, with only 3 clues needed throughout, this hardly slowed them down!

Team ‘You Can’t Prove Anything Copper!!’ managed to escape with a time of 5 mins 55 secs left on the clock!⏰

Our last team in Project Escape today are ‘Danny’s Angels’, made up of Marie, Delia, and their brother Danny, and they’re here to have a go at our Sherlocked room! 🕵️‍♂️🔎

Do these siblings have the smarts to successfully solve Sherlock’s smystery? Coming to Project Escape at the end of a busy day of celebrating Danny’s birthday 🎂, this team was excited to have a fun time solving puzzles and cracking locks! Let’s see how they got on!

These guys took a competitive approach to the room, all choosing different clues to follow in hopes of solving more puzzles than their siblings. They did aid each-other whenever someone encountered a particularly tricky puzzle, though it was their lack of cooperation and communication which sadly lead to them not escaping the room in time.

Though they may not have escaped in time, this team still had a great time together with a bunch of laughs. And as for who was the best sibling? Well, let’s just call it a three-way tie… for last place. Great job anyways guys, and happy birthday to Danny! 🥳 We’d love to see you all back soon to try one of our other rooms! Into Project Escape today we had Team ‘Thick as Mince’ consisting of Sofie, Ali, Kelly & Katelyn entering Jailbreak⛓️

Ali & Kelly were locked in seclusion for causing trouble⛓️ can their cell mates free them and escape before time runs out?! Let’s see how they got on!
With some of the group having escaped our attic, they hardly needed help with some of the jail’s trickiest clues! Being in constant communication throughout, they were able to free their cellmates with a good amount of time left.
As time ticked down, not much was left yet the team were scratching their heads, needing a nudge in the right direction to keep them on track.

Team ‘Thick as Mince’ managed to escape with a time of 3 mins left on the clock!⏰

First into Project Escape today we had Team ‘No Mercy’. Our treasure hunters consisted of Alex, Barnaby & Sam👋

Will they find the treasure and escape before time runs out or will they be trapped within its walls forever?!🦂
With a little experience behind them, let’s see if team ‘No Mercy’ lived up to their name…
Getting stuck in straight away, the trio needed no help to get themselves started, solving the first few puzzles with ease.
Passing the halfway mark, they were scratching their heads as some of the tomb’s trickier puzzles left them stumped as time ticked down! Requiring a few clues to get closer to finding the hidden treasure, not much time was left for the boys.

Team ‘No Mercy’ managed to escape with a tense time of 27 seconds left!⏰
Well done guys, we would love to have you back again to try another room!

Today in Project Escape, we have ‘Cleo’s Humans 😸’ Jo, Hannah, Richard, Judy, and Mike, taking on our Sherlocked room! 🕵️‍♂️🔎

Will this team of detectives successfully solve the mystery of The Missing Hexham Heads within the time limit? With a mix of escape room experience within the team, we were all excited to see if they were up to the task of solving this legendary mystery! Let’s see how they got on!

Does this family of detectives have what it takes to solve the mysteries hidden within these ancient relics? Coming here from York for a weekend trip, this family have done a few escape rooms before and were confident that they’d be able to escape in time. Let’s see if they did!

This group showcased some very impressive problem solving through their time in the room. The youngest, Hannah, is our MVP for this game, as it was her cool-headed smarts that helped the team get past several of the room’s harder puzzles. In the end, the group only needed a single small hint near the end it beat all the puzzles, a very impressive feat for one of our tougher rooms!

All in all, ‘Cleo’s Humans’ made their cat very proud by escaping Sherlocked with 12 minutes left on the clock! ⏰😻 Brilliant job guys! We’d love to see you all back soon to try one of our other rooms! For bookings and availability please visit www.project-escape.co.uk

Our team that's found themselves locked in Jail today are the ‘Best Team’ consisting of Holly, Poppy and Heath

Holly was locked in seclusion for causing trouble will her cell mates free her and escape before time runs out?!
With this being our teams first escape room they started off slowly while they figured out where to begin, coming across a few hidden clues to help them on their way to escaping. A few clues were needed on some of the jails harder puzzles.

With some great teamwork and a few clues along the way they managed to escape Jail with a little extra time ⏰

Next into Project Escape are ‘The Hitchcock Hug’ made up of Leah, Ian, Tom, and Sam, and they’re all attempting our Sherlocked room! 🕵️‍♂️🔎

Does this family of detectives have what it takes to solve the mysteries hidden within these ancient relics? Coming here from York for a weekend trip, this family have done a few escape rooms before and were confident that they’d be able to escape in time. Let’s see if they did!

This team got straight into the puzzle solving action, cracking the first few codes in a matter of minutes! Leah took charge of the group, though the boys all did their fair part in finding and using clues. The group ran into the occasional bit of bother with a puzzle, but with a small hint and some clever logic they managed to get past all of them with relative ease, escaping with time to spare!

In the end, ‘The Hitchcock Hug’ managed to escape the room with 11 minutes left on the clock! ⏰ Great job guys! We’d love to see you all back soon to try one of our other rooms! For bookings and availability please visit www.project-escape.co.uk
