Managed to hide and paint whilst hes been out 😅 Seen as he's not on social, I couldn't wait to share it. He loves mixing sets and his favourite animal is a lion so came up with this...

Hope he loves it as much as I do 😍

I am so grateful to have been given the opportunity to paint this beautiful family 💕

This is my second EVER portrait. I worked from three separate photos and was given free reign, with the only instructions that they love pink and glitter.

I have always been scared of doing portraits, afraid of not getting the likeness right. This was a challenge, there were points where I thought I couldn't do it, but I muscled on through the doubt I had. I'm so glad i persevered with it!

It's been a while since I've posted anything 😪... I've been super busy being 'teacher' whilst also trying to make time for my latest commission. 😅

I can not lie, this one has been a challenge! But, I love a challenge and the rollercoaster of feelings that one brings. There have been moments where I 'got it' then 'lost it' ... today I have focused on one element and am now on a roll!!!! 💃

Keep an eye out for the final piece in the next few days 😘😘

Yes! .....finished! Sometimes, a canvas can take weeks and weeks and weeks, you can battle with trying to make it perfect. Then out of the blue you have a vision and bish bash bosh its done... but this however is imperfectly perfect and I'm fine with that. Art to me, evokes a feeling or emotion and this style of art is what makes me smile and is from my heart.

Have not thought of a title or name for this piece so if you have any suggestions please feel free to share.

This is also my first piece (that is not a commission) that will be up for sale
