That’s a wrap! Thank you to all the acts for performing last night at Heartsartsopenmic, audience (in particular Dawn Kelly for singing our praises in the pub afterwards), Emma and Rog for being our loyal sound department…And to my special friend Julie Bee who was absolutely wonderful with her MCing. She’s incredibly unique with her audience engagement and I hope other comedy nights book her…AND of course we had the captivating Robin Ince headlining, who had the audience hanging on every word. It was an honour to watch him and be inspired.

Thanking Mudlarks for being “well up for me running a variety open mic night”…💕🎭🙏🎭💕
…BUT it will be our final on Friday 27th March 💕🎭
There are just 8 seats left to reserve, walk-ins welcome ☺️
Thank you to all the performers and audience (not forgetting my partner in crime Julie Bee & loyal sound technicians Emma & Rog, who helped me with each monthly event at Mudlarks last year. I didn’t anticipate the amount of “behind the scenes” admin that was going to be involved and along with my solo projects…I have been juggling…🥹🤹
To avoid dropping a ball I have decided to put a pause on Heartsartsopenmic but I’m sure there will be an event or two in the future under the HeartsArts umbrella 💕🎭☂️
In the meantime I look forward to seeing you on the 27th for our finale…🙌
