What a fantastic week we've just had at BEAM Theatre with The Vicar of Dibley: A Holy Wholly Happy Ending! 🎭

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and supported the production. The cast, crew, creatives and volunteers have loved bringing the wonderful world of Dibley back to the stage, and your support means everything to us. ❤️

But there's no time to rest...

We're already turning our attention to our next production, The Government Inspector, which opens in just a few weeks! Expect chaos, corruption, mistaken identities and plenty of laughs in this classic comedy.

🎭✨ And finally... it's OPENING NIGHT! ✨🎭

Meet two of Dibley's most beloved characters before the curtain rises on The Vicar of Dibley: A Holy Wholly Happy Ending.

Alice Tinker-Horton, played by Carly Cousins, is Dibley's wonderfully naïve and lovable verger. Fiercely loyal to Geraldine and always eager to help (whether asked to or not!), Alice still doesn't understand any of Geraldine's jokes. Has becoming a mother to ten children made her wiser? Not a chance! But this time, she may just have a brilliant idea up her sleeve... 🤔💡

And of course, there's Geraldine Granger herself, played by Carrie Williams. The much-loved Vicar of Dibley is devoted to her parishioners, but longs to find her soulmate. Could romance finally be on the horizon, or will the well-meaning but chaotic Parish Council make a complete mess of things? ❤️😂

🏡⛪ Meet more of the colourful characters of Dibley Parish Council!

Hugo Horton, played by Barny Shergold, is the long-suffering son of David Horton and husband to Alice Tinker-Horton. Since their unforgettable Teletubby-themed wedding and the arrival of their first child during the village Nativity, the family has grown to an impressive ten children! While Hugo isn't always known for his sharp thinking, could he finally be about to surprise everyone with a brilliant idea? 🤔

Then there's David Horton, played by Jim Markey – the grumpy chairman of the Parish Council whose sharp tongue is as legendary as ever. Although he's grown rather fond of Geraldine over the years, his exasperation with Hugo and Alice shows no signs of fading! 😂
