The Daily Star reached out to us a while ago as they wanted to chat to our landlady Rachel about the resident ghosts at The Farmer’s Boy. 👻

After our viral video of our resident ghost trying to Split the G in our pub, we sparked many conversations on how spooky our pub really is:

“One social media user wrote: “Must be an Irish ghost.” Another said: “It could be one of the old locals and you’re in his seat.” While one added: “Get the vicar in to bless the place, can’t be having pints wasted.”“

As Rachel said in the interview, visits from psychics suggests the ghosts are friendly, but maybe they just wanted a pint? 🍺

Live Music in September! 🎶

This month we have an extra special music event on 6th September featuring 4 amazing live acts - Brook Charles, Why Not, Lisa Marie's Adele Tribute and DJ decades music going into the evening. This will be a brilliant day while the Brickendon Fete is taking place over the road, so if you want to get your live music fix, we've got you sorted! 🫡

Not only that, but we have live music on the 13th and 27th as well - evenings not to be missed!

On September 6th, we have a full day of live music on at The Farmer's Boy! 🤩 🥳

The annual village fete is happening on Brickendon Green on 6th September from 11:30am to 3:30pm and we will be hosting a full day of music for your entertainment. 🎶

Starting from 12, we will have Brook Charles, Why Not?, Adele Tribute by Lisa Marie, and DJ music continuing into the evening. See the poster for full line up timetable. It's guaranteed to be a great day for all - so if you need your music fix after browsing the fete, pop over and see us! 😄
