‘Paint the things you love’ - David Hockney 💛 Edie took this of my Mum and I just a couple of weeks ago in front of DHs amazing window at Turner Contemporary

His incredible use of colour, his portraits, the way he makes painting look effortless. Then the way he pivoted in lockdown and went digital!

Plus, all the memories around seeing his work - meeting my mum and friends at his exhibitions over the years, being inspired and uplifted by all the colour - amazing 🤩

My little helper, helping me prep for our Father’s Day crafternoon on Sunday!! We have a few spots if you’d like to join us 🎨🫟🖐️

We’ll be:
🖐️ Hand-printing Father’s Day cards
🎨 Painting and decorating mini wooden crates
🍺 Filling them with craft beer or a gift of your choice!

Plus there’ll be music, bubbles, colouring-in, tea & coffee for the grown-ups and juice for the kids.

What a wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon, getting creative with this lovely lot!! From having never designed a tag to creating these in an hour and spraying the boards, they really were super stars 🤩 The sense of pride at the end for what they had achieved was so lovely to see.

We kicked off drawing out the letters and experimenting with tags in our sketchbooks, then we had fun spraying boards in neon colours. And finally we blew up our tags, cut them out and added them to our board. Swipe to have a look >>

Get prepped for Father’s Day with us!! I’m running a super informal and fun crafternoon on Sunday 14th June where we’ll make and decorate lovely wooden crates to pop in Fathers Day gifts! Plus we’ll have lots of fun with paint hand printing cards for Grandpas, Uncles, Dads or any other wonderful father figures in our lives 🎨 ✏️ 🙌🏻

4 days til Doodle Den is back and so are these giant pencils 😄✏️ We have some space left in the 11:45am slot if you’d like to join us - link in bio!

These sessions are super informal. Grab a pen and get doodling across the floor or join in with lots of fun drawing games. Everyone gets a super cute little sketch book and pen to take home!

Grown ups can take the opportunity to sit back and relax with a cuppa or join in and get creative with the kids.

It’s also the best place to escape the heatwave and get out of the midday sun, the warehouse stays nice and cool 🙌🏻

2 weeks to go 💥 I’ve had a few people asking what is the Doodle Den?! So one night a few months ago I had this wild idea to take over the space and cover it head to toe in paper like one giant canvas!

There are no rules, no having to sit at a table, you and the kids are free to get as creative as you like 🙌🏻

Doodle across the floor and our big colouring cube, strike a pose with our giant colouring pens, have fun with our new doodle games, and let your imagination run wild!

Grown ups can join in or sit back with a cuppa, or this time around you can come along for the evening with friends - create, sip and unwind! 🥂

I’ve had a few ask about graffiti parties, so thought I’d share some snaps to give you an idea as to what we get up to!!

We kick off designing tags in our sketch books, we look at graffiti tags and typefaces then we blow it up and cut it out. We then have fun spraying boards using water based solvent free spray paint, then once dry we attach our tags!!

The children love the different processes in the workshop and go crazy for the spraying! Then they have a lovely piece of artwork to take home and remember the party by.

We can do these as parties or we’ll be popping up with a graffiti workshop in the summer, watch this space!!

Soo lovely to see so many of you at Ecofest earlier!! It was our first outdoor pop up of the season. I always say yes to these events in the winter forgetting how much work they are, then the night before packing the car, looking at the weather forecast, I think why did I say yes 😅 but then all you lovely lot come down and join in the crafty fun and it reminds me why we do them!! It was such a lovely atmosphere and wonderful to see little ones, tweens and the grown ups getting creative together 🥰 A big thank you to everyone who came and said hi 👋🏻
