One of the most beautiful and inspiring gardens I have ever visited. Monet’s House in Giverny, did not disappoint. Being immersed in amongst the iris’s and tulips and seeing the beautiful pink house in the background, I knew I wanted to recreate it in collage.

By painting all my papers I could build a collection that would describe the colours and textures I saw and create the right atmosphere and capture how I saw and felt when I visited.

The beauty of working in collage is that the layering of the papers give a piece depth textural edges that only add to the details of the piece.
