Our littlest singers have been so excited getting ready for their big performance at Herne bay pride (Saturday 20th 3.15pm at the community stage) 🤩⭐️

For most of them, this will be their ever performance and although we have some nerves we have been working hard on making up some actions for our songs, learning our lyrics and being strong, brave and confident 🎵⭐️ We would absolutely love for you to be there, cheering them on and supporting our next generation of singers! They are amazing 🤩

This week, we played some choir bingo, welcomed a brand new singer to our group, and learnt two new key words - staccato and Legato 🧠🧐 We have certainly been busy, but these singers never fail to bring the energy, sass and enthusiasm to every session! 🎵💛💛

We’ve had a busy few weeks here at the HFsingers!⭐️⭐️⭐️

We have one week left before half term so let’s recap !!!! 💛🎵

•We have welcomed some new faces and welcomed back some friends who have been away 👋👋👯‍♀️

• Our children’s session has over DOUBLED this term, and we are so excited to get to know all the amazing stars who have joined us ⭐️

• We started AND smashed our hardest song yet! You will be found from the musical dear Evan Hansen is split into up to five part harmony with some extremely tricky Rhythms! 💙💙

• We welcomed our teens into our adult choir sessions for a few extra rehearsals and laughed A LOT 💛

• We celebrated Achievements in every single group, including new roles in shows, competitions, new jobs, birthdays 🎂 new grandchildren and exams!! 🤣

It’s been a busy term for us but we want to celebrate all our members! I can’t wait for us to keep smashing it and take on next term, ready for some of our first summer performances! ⭐️💛⭐️💛⭐️

Feeling so proud of our lovely choir this evening! 💛All groups absolutely smashed an incredibly technical and emotional challenging song today from the musical Dear Evan Hansen. We only started singing together in September and the growth I have seen in all the groups is immense…. Well done to every member in the HF Singers, you ate truly all STARS ⭐️✨🤩

Looking for something new to try this half term for yourself or the kids? ✨🎵

Come and join us this Tuesday at Thornden Wood Primary School as we explore brand new songs, techniques and skills!

HF Singers is a fun, friendly singing group committed to giving everyone a place to sing their hearts out and truly shine — no matter your age, experience or voice. If you love to sing, you’re always welcome with us 💛

We run three groups:
🎵 Kids (6–11)
🎵 Teens (12–18)
🎵 Adults (18+)

You can expect a variety of songs — from musicals like Dear Evan Hansen, Six and Mamma Mia, to genres like pop, reggae and rock! Some of our recent songs include “You Will Be Found”, “Sweet Child O’ Mine”, “Ordinary” and “Three Little Birds” ✨

Our experienced and passionate musical leader Hollie Firmin (from The Voice Kids, vocal coach and performer), started this amazing group alongside her sister back in September!

We’re not your typical “sheet music, classical choir songs and serious faces only” kind of choir… we want you to have fun, have a boogie, and sing your heart out — all while learning how your voice works, how to control it, and how to improve your skills 💛

No sign-up, no pressure — just pop us a message and come along this Tuesday!

What an incredible few months we’ve had at HF Singers 💛

We truly couldn’t be more grateful for the support and love you’ve shown us. We’ve seen friendships blossom, confidence grow, and singers truly shine ✨

In the past 12 weeks, we’ve celebrated Pancake Day, Valentine’s Day, International Women’s Day, and Easter 🐣 We’ve also celebrated birthdays, personal achievements, first solos, performances, and so many wins both in and out of choir.

I know every “business” says it, but we really have built something special — a family. We may not be the biggest or the best, and we’ve faced our share of challenges, but I am so incredibly proud of the community we’ve created 💛
At HF Singers, everyone is welcome. No drama, no pressure — just a safe, supportive space to enjoy singing 🎵✨

We’re now on our Easter break, but we can’t wait to be back with our HF Singers family soon… and we’re so excited to start working towards our very first summer performances 💛
