Better late than never! Hello, February - two for joy! The tree on which this drawing is based is currently in bloom. A pair of Magpies nestled amidst pink blossom.

A colourful Chaffinch nestled amidst a verdant woodland canvas. Below, a dense carpet of bluebells bathes the forest floor in a dreamy purple haze as rays of sunlight break through the canopy.

Male Chaffinches, whilst brighter than their female counterpart, fade during the autumn and become more vibrant during winter.

My British Garden Birds collection is a growing series of prints of my watercolour pencil drawings. Wild and song birds native to Britain, and regular visitors to our gardens and green spaces.

Each bird is hand-drawn using water-soluble pencils. A high resolution scan is made allowing a range of items to be produced. Prints are available in a selection of sizes.
