Tuesday Westfields Community Hall 7.30 - 9.30pm
Wednesday Much Birch 7.30pm - 9.30pm Much Birch is suitable for High Beginner to Intermediate. Clehonger is an Absolute Beginner class
We are a very friendly group and enjoy dancing to all genres of music. Kool Kickers is a well

established line dance class run by an experienced, fully qualified teacher with over 28 years teaching experience. I am also a very enthusiastic Choreographer and have recently choreographed a number of dances. My classes are very friendly and we welcome ladies, gents and children (accompanied by an adult) of all ages. I teach dances of all levels to all genres of music. Everyone enjoys themselves and we are like one happy family of dancers. Line dancing brings smiles to people's faces along with a lot of laughter. Line dancing is a natural icebreaker. It is a great way to meet people and to make new friends. Line dancing is a brilliant form of exercise and can be as gentle or as energetic as you want it to be. People love to line dance because the dance moves are easy to learn and it doesn't require you to co-ordinate moves with a partner. It can be easier for some if they come along with a friend but please feel re-assured that this isn't necessary as the minute that you walk through the doors of my classes you will find a room full of friends that you haven't yet met! Please feel free to come and join my friendly classes on your own or bring your family and friends with you and give it a go. We look forward to seeing and welcoming you in the near future. Please do not hesitate to contact me and also take a look at our Website. Contact Details: www.koolkickerslinedancing.com

KOOL KICKERS LINE DANCING
It was lovely to see so many dancers returning this week after a week’s break from the extreme hot weather conditions. We had 4 brilliant classes, covering a good mixture of dances. I have read that the very hot weather is going to return mid way through June – thankfully it does cool down slightly during the evening when 3 of our classes are held.
Thank you to all the beginners who came to the Sunday social at Clehonger. I am sure you had a really good afternoon despite the hall being very crowded. This was mainly due to Tony Rouse having so many followers.
I had a lovely day in Birmingham today listening to one of Ioan’s friends playing a violin recital in Birmingham Conservatoire. An amazing venue for music students. Ioan has been offered an unconditional offer at Birmingham to further study his music but he has decided to accept the unconditional offer at Manchester. Some of these youngsters are so amazingly talented. Many of you would have heard Ioan singing and playing his guitar at Michael’s funeral. I know Michael will be so proud of him as he is singing in God’s choir in the sky.

I would like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated at, my husband, Michael’s funeral. The total raised was incredible, exceeding £1,000. We were able to divide the donations between Longtown Mountain Rescue and Kingstone Surgery.
Kingstone Surgery were extremely grateful and assured us that the money would go towards their next fundraising venture.
This evening, Hazel and Nigel from Longtown Mountain Rescue came to visit us. It was so lovely to share stories about Michael’s love of the mountains, the many weekends he spent walking them, and the times he volunteered with the rescue team himself.
They spoke about the amazing work they do, the rescues they have been involved in, the vast geographical area and challenging terrain that they cover. Everything they do is on a voluntary basis, so every penny donated will go to very good use.
Michael would have been so proud.
Thank you all once again for your kindness, generosity, and support.
A big thank you to everyone who attended the funeral service. How lovely to see the Abbey packed with family and friends.

It has been a very emotional but lovely week knowing that everything we planned for Michael’s send off went perfectly beautiful. Michael was a very proud Welshman so we felt his funeral needed to be full of music and love and all the things he so enjoyed in life. Belmont Abbey was full of people who came to pay their last respects to such a wonderful man. It was also lovely to see so many people come to the Crematorium and then back to the Wake at the Rowing Club. Thank you to everyone who came and thank you for your generous donations. We collected £300 for Kingstone Surgery, for their kindness to Michael over the last 2 years and approx. £575 to Longtown Mountain Rescue team, a charity close to Michael’s heart and one he helped with on many occasions when he walked the Welsh mountains.
I have struggled with dancing this week as unfortunately I had a fall in Lidle’s on Sunday afternoon and badly bruised my leg, finger and pulled a muscle around my ribs. Having said that we did 3 new dances all of which went down very well.
