HEREFORD STEAMPUNK EXPERIENCE 2022
SATURDAY 9 APRIL

Since I stepped back from holding an event in Hereford the wonderful volunteers at the Waterworks Museum have decided to hold their own event this year. This will take place on Saturday 9 April 2022, with extended hours of opening 11am to 6.30pm.

The entertainment package for this event is being organised by Greg Chapman, who most of you will know well, supported by local acts.

Please consider attending or supporting this event in any way you can as I would love to see a Steampunk event continue in Hereford for years to come.

For more information please email Diane Cammidge ([email protected]) or see the Hereford Steampunk Experience page . ‘

With enormous regret I have decided that I will no longer stage the Hereford Steampunk Weekend at the lovely Waterworks Museum. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Richard and his team, and the Museum is a fantastic and very apt setting for steampunk shenanigans and a great photo opportunity.

I do reserve the right to change my mind in the future if the circumstances allow, but follwing our move to County Durham last year I am looking mainly to stage events that are not so far from home.

Here's some photos from the years we were there, happy days!

As the Museum are holding a Virtual Steampunk Weekend on their FB page and Twitter account, I thought it would be appropriate to join in by republishing some of the photographs of this rather lovely event from the last three years. Please feel free to add your own, both here and on their page - after all, without you wonderful steampunk visitors in your glorious outfits, it would be "just another day at the Waterworks!"

The Waterworks Museum are going to stage a Virtual Steampunk Weekend over the 25th & 26th of April, using their page and Twitter feed.

This is a great idea, I am very impressed with them - please do pop along and enjoy this, it is obviously not quite the same as being able to go to an actual event, but hopefully we can return in 2021 for the real thing - but in the meantime, let's support the Museum and show our appreciation.

We are looking forward to returning to the Waterworks Museum in Hereford for our first steampunk event of the year over the weekend of April 25th & 26th.

Hereford is a very beautiful city, in a wonderful location on the River Wye, surrounded by lovely countryside. The Waterworks Museum, which has won many awards over the years, is a marvellous place, crammed to the rafters with machinery related to pumping water, much of it powered by steam, and this will in "in action" over the steampunk weekend.

It is well worth a visit at any time, and we just add live entertainment and some retail therapy to the mix. Some trade space still available, PM or e-mail davidksmith56 AT gmail DOT com for a Booking Form.

The Hereford Steampunk Weekend will be our first steampunk festival of 2020, and our fourth year at the lovely Hereford Waterworks Museum, over the weekend of April 25th & 26th. I still find it difficult to believe how many working engines and machines they manage to fit into what is not an enormous site!

We are really delighted to be able to tell you that once again we have the absolutely marvellous Mr Alexander's Travelling Show at this event. Three completely different shows per day, guaranteed to enthrall children from 4 to 94, Mr Alexander is quite rightly a legend - if you have already seen his performances, you will know what I mean and you will want to see them again. And if not, you had best put this in your diary and come and see what I am talking about. There is no one that comes close, the most complete entertainer I have ever had the pleasure to have at oneof my festivals.

Here's just a few photographs - but you really have to be there!
