My skin is currently the worst it’s been, but yet I am the happiest I have been in a while!

Without going into all the gory details, today feels like a massively proud day because I can finally say I am running a business that works for me rather than against me.

Two years ago, I started my first independent classes with no real idea where they would lead. Just a hope and a prayer that they might take me somewhere great. Since then, there have been plenty of lessons learned, lots of trial and error, some really difficult business decisions, and more than a few moments where I've questioned what on earth I was doing.

But here we are ✨

Two years on, I get to spend my days teaching movement, helping people feel stronger and more confident in their bodies, chatting with my wonderful clients, and doing work that genuinely lights me up. Not every class has worked, not every idea has been a success, and I've learned that sometimes letting go of things is just as important as starting them.

What I'm most proud of isn't having a perfect business. It's building something that fits around my life, my family, and who I am.

To every single person who has attended a class, shared a post, recommended me to a friend, or trusted me to be part of their movement journey—thank you. You are the reason Productive Wellbeing is what it is today💜

Here's to two years of learning, adapting, growing, and proving that sometimes the winding path is exactly the right one even when it doesn't feel like it at the time...

Stretching... not only awesome for your body, but for your mind too! 💜

Taking just a few moments to slow down, move mindfully, and focus on your body can really help quiet a busy mind, release any tension you've been carrying without even realising it, and create a sense of calm amongst the chaos of everyday life.

The physical benefits are wonderful, but the feeling of leaving a class with a clearer mind, lighter shoulders, and a sense of having done something just for you? That's pretty special too 💜

UPDATE: PILATES & PLAYDATES

Sadly, I have decided that I will be putting my Pilates & Playdates class on pause following our next session on 9th June.

I started this class a year ago with the hope of creating a relaxed space where parents and carers could move, connect, and feel part of a supportive community.

Unfortunately, the practical business side of things has had to take over (as much as I hate it sometimes). Without consistent numbers each week, I can no longer keep the class running, so for now I'm taking a step back to reassess things and hopefully work out a better way forward.

I'm hoping it isn't goodbye to this session for good. If there is enough interest in the near future, I would love to bring the class back.

For now though, I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone who has joined me over the past year. Your support, smiles, chats, and willingness to show up each week have meant more than you know!💜

That little pre-class nervous walk? Yep, I still do it from time to time… 😅

Even after teaching countless classes, I still get a few butterflies before everyone arrives into class.

Not because I don’t know what I’m doing, but because I care. I care about my clients, I care about my teaching, and I always want people to have the best experience possible during their classes.

Thankfully, the nerves never last long once I start welcoming everyone into class. So if you are the first one entering the room and find me pacing the mat- I am most likely just doing my last mental check/ recall of choreo before we get started 💜✨

Do you ever notice your neck feeling stiff after a long day of sitting? 💻

Whether you’re working at a desk, driving, or curled up on the sofa, spending lots of time seated can leave the neck feeling tight, achy and restricted. Over time, our posture can start to be affected too ⚠️

Swipe ⬅️ to help ease that neck tension in 3 easy steps, repeating each exercise around 8-10 times ideally:

1. Find a comfy spot and start by lengthening your neck, think about pulling your shoulders down away from your ears. Gently move your head side to side to look over each shoulder, keeping the chin at the same height.

2. “Listen to your shoulder” by looking ahead and bringing the ear towards one shoulder at a time- keep the movement slow and steady and watch those shoulders don’t raise here.

3. Lower your chin to your chest and then roll the jaw along the collar bone until you are listening to your shoulder. Repeat the jaw roll round to the other side.

My class cue: “Turn yourself into a Swiss roll…“ or more commonly known as a spinal roll down into a deep curl squat - I absolutely love this one, alongside every other stretch I teach of course 😂
�It’s nothing particularly fancy but it’s a wonderful way of gently keeping the spine, hips and knees and ankles moving in the way they’re designed to. When these areas stay mobile, everyday things feel so much easier: bending down, getting up, walking, standing, sitting… all of it! �
It’s not about forcing flexibility, it’s about giving your body regular movement to help you feel free and less stiff in your day to day life 💜

This is the focus of my Stretch For Wellness classes — simple, feel‑good mobility that supports real life.

All abilities welcome whatever stage of mobility you are at ☺️

Another afternoon of filming done and another Pilates + Barre Remix class being uploaded onto the online membership portal this evening ⭐️ (You’ll definitely feel that ‘barre burn’ with this one!) Looking forward to further expanding my online library over the course of the next few months.
