Dance, performance & fitness Founded by Kim Owen, Becks White and Vicky Lightowler in 2010 & Laura Lowe joined the founding members in 2013.

The Starlight Company offers a fusion of regular dance-based fitness classes for children and adults from Zumba® to Performing Arts in and around Herefordshire as well as specialist weekend and holiday workshops and we can also be hired out for birthday parties, choreography assistance for school/college performances from fetes & proms to stage productions. s became instructors in 2018 to add a range of great classes and expertise. We are all Herefordian professional Dance/Fitness Instructors involved within the community in various shapes and forms through business, enterprise, performance, fitness & education. We all have a great passion for what we do. We have lived & breathed dance, performance & fitness since young ages. And so Starlight was borne – we want to share our love with everyone no matter what age or sex because of the great benefits moving and shaking can bring to all aspects of life! Our aim is to make our participants shine like the stars they are…

☀️ Summer Fun! ☀️

Kicking off this Summer Solstice weekend with these super Starlighters performing at St Paul’s School Fete! ⭐️

What a joy to see their fantastic energy, brilliant smiles and growing confidence shining through on stage.

Moments like these remind us why we do what we do.
Not just learning dance steps, but building confidence, resilience and the courage to stand up and share your light with others.

It’s wonderful to see all their hard work in the studio being put into practice and bringing so much joy to the community, who also joined in with the dancing fun. 💛

We couldn’t be prouder of these fabulous young performers.

Movement is medicine + music = magic ✨

Every person who walks through our studio doors brings a story with them.

Some are celebrating.
Some are grieving.
Some are rebuilding.
Some are finding their confidence again.
Some are simply trying to make it through a busy week.

Dance and Yoga don’t make those things disappear.

But for an hour, we move.
We breathe.
We connect.
We remember who we are underneath all the noise.

It’s not about escaping life.

It’s about returning to ourselves.

Wrapped in music, movement and community, our hope is that everyone leaves with a little more energy, a little more confidence and a little more light than when they arrived.

At Starlight, we believe every child has a light within them waiting to shine.

Through dance, music and performance, we help children develop creativity, confidence, independence and lifelong friendships in a positive and supportive environment.

Our Summer Stage School is so much more than a holiday club. It’s a week filled with laughter, learning, teamwork and unforgettable memories.

For four exciting days, we rehearse, create and prepare together in the studio. Then, on day five, the curtains open, the lights shine bright and our Starlighters take to the stage for two spectacular performances!

There’s nothing quite like watching children discover what they’re capable of when they believe in themselves. 💛

✨Sow the seed and watch them grow 🌟

It only seems like yesterday that Erin and Billie first walked through the doors of Starlight as 6-year-old dancers with big smiles, boundless energy and dreams waiting to unfold 💛

Now, at 19, they are young women, heading off on incredible adventures to Camp America and Camp Canada to teach, inspire and make memories that will last a lifetime ✨

Carrying with them the confidence, courage and kindness that have always shone so brightly within them.

Looking back at these photos reminds us that Starlight has never just been about dance, singing or performing. It has always been about belonging. About friendship. About finding your voice. About discovering who you are and having the confidence to share that with the world.

Erin and Billie, we are so incredibly proud of you both. Thank you for being such wonderful role models to our younger dancers and for bringing your own unique sparkle to Starlight over the years.

May you go and spread your light far and wide, carrying a little piece of Starlight magic wherever you go.
