The final part of making any axe or hammer is fitting the handle, and it’s amazing how much character you can add with just a little finishing touch. Here, we’ve added a bit of char to the wood, giving the handle a darker, rustic look and that extra bit of flair.

It’s those little details that can really bring a handmade piece together — turning something practical into something with personality and character. From forging the head to shaping the handle, every part of the process is hands-on, and you get to put your own stamp on the finished piece.

A little heat, a little char, and a whole lot of character! 🔥⚒️

There’s something special about pulling a piece of steel from the forge and getting ready to shape it. ⚒️🔥

Watching the steel glow red hot, taking it from the fire, and then bringing the hammer down to begin shaping it is a feeling that’s hard to beat. With every strike, you’re changing a simple piece of steel into something completely your own. 🔨

It’s hot, it’s noisy, it takes a bit of effort — but that’s all part of the experience! There’s something incredibly satisfying about seeing the steel change shape beneath your hammer and knowing you’re the one making it happen.

From the heat of the forge to the final finished piece, every creation starts with that moment.

This is a particularly special sword, forged together by a father and son for a birthday. From a simple piece of steel, they worked side by side to create something truly unique — and we think Conan turned out pretty mighty indeed! 🔥⚒️

There’s something special about forging a sword together. It’s not just about the finished blade; it’s about the time spent learning, working, laughing and creating something that you can look back on and say, “We made that.”

And Conan is certainly a sword with a bit of character! A unique design, a unique story, and a fantastic memory for this father and son to take home with them.

Whether you’ve always fancied making your own cleaver, want to try your hand at a Japanese-style blade, or simply want to create something completely unique, we’ll guide you through the process from start to finish.

Ever wanted to forge your very own Damascus knife? With us, you can do exactly that — and in just two days, you’ll take your blade from raw steel to a finished piece you can be proud of. We’ll guide you through the whole process, from forging the billet and working the steel, through to shaping the blade and revealing that unmistakable Damascus pattern.

And the final step? Etching the blade in acid to bring out the beautiful layers and show off all the hard work that went into creating it. 🔥⚒️

It’s a hands-on experience where you’ll learn the process, get stuck in, and create something completely unique. Two days. One incredible blade. Your own Damascus knife. 🔪🔥
