Hereford Police Male Voice Choir was once again delighted to extend its tradition of offering its annual Bursary to a young musician from Herefordshire and Worcestershire. The competition was as keen as ever this year with 7 finalists competing for the £1000 prize.
The adjudicators were unanimous in offering it to 14 year old Rory Woodward who performed Beethoven on the piano and Buxtehude on the church organ. Four other contestants received smaller prizes but in all honesty, all of the finalists were well worth listening to.
There is so much talent in our young people.
