Tapestry Singers A mixed-voice, a-cappella chamber choir of 16 singers, based in Cambridgeshire. Available for concerts, weddings and fundraising events.

Formed in 1996 from local singers, we meet every week at St Margaret's Church, Hemingford Abbots, which allows us to rehearse in a beautiful venue with an excellent acoustic. Our repertoire has grown considerably over the years, offering period and contemporary popular songs - primarily unaccompanied. We particularly enjoy helping to raise valuable funds for local charities through our concerts. We are often asked to sing at various church services and weddings.

📣Tapestry Singers have a vacancy for a Soprano to join us as soon as possible.

You must be a confident singer with a voice that can blend well with the choir. Good sight-reading skills are a distinct advantage.

We are a friendly a capella choir, rehearsing on Wednesday evenings in Hemingford Abbots, near Huntingdon. We have about 20 members and sing in a wide range of genres from Byrd to the Beatles.

If you are interested in finding out more about the vacancy and the choir, please email our Musical Director, Mr Jeremy Burrows - [email protected].

Another lovely evening singing at Godmanchester's Island Hall.
We thoroughly enjoy singing here 🎄🎶

The event raised money for Living Keys: A Peterborough-based grassroots organisation with a mission to support and empower women who have gone through abuse. They provide free courses, workshops and a safe place for women to socialise and feel heard through love and acceptance. Livingkeys.co.uk
