•MINDSET•
Almost a year later, and today was one of those days that really challenged my growth.
After being rear-ended while stationary by a van driver distracted on their phone, I've continued to deal with the impact of that moment. Today, the pain in my wrist was enough to bring me to tears after an exercise class I used to love.
The difference now is how I responded.
Instead of sitting in anger and frustration, I reminded myself how far I've come:
♡I went to the class
♡I rebooked my physio
♡ I'm choosing to slow down, listen to my body, and be mindful of this next chapter of healing.
Growth isn't always about pushing harder. Sometimes it's about accepting where you are, focusing on what you can control, and giving yourself permission to heal.
If you're navigating your own challenges right now, be kind to yourself. Healing isn't linear, and progress doesn't always look the way we expect.
Whether through creativity, sound, movement, or simply taking a moment to pause, grounding yourself matters.
