🎪 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 ☕

The craft fair prep has officially begun! 🥳

Behind the scenes, my little corner of the house is slowly turning into a very cosy production line of yarn, hooks, looms, cups of tea and lots of lists 📝

I thought it would be fun to take you along with me as I get everything ready, so I've made myself a little craft fair checklist & and I'll be ticking things off as I go!

There are baby hats and toddler hats to make, super chunky and double knit blankets to finish, Christmas decorations to crochet, and lots of little adventure animal buddies waiting to come to life.

And that's just the beginning...there are plenty more little treasures on my list.

I'll be sharing little updates along the way, so you can follow along as the stock pile grows, the checklist gets smaller and the craft fair gets closer.

For now, I'm off to put the kettle on and get stitching...one little handmade treasure at a time.

🧶 𝗕𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗗𝗶𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 - 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗸? 🪡

This week, my hook has been busy bringing these beautiful pastel shades together, and I couldn't resist sharing a little peek 👀

Soft lavender, baby blue, gentle mint and the palest blush pink...they remind me of spring mornings, sleepy cuddles and peaceful nursery days. There's something so calming about watching these colours grow, one stitch at a time.

This blanket is still a work in progress, but I'm already imagining the little one who'll one day be wrapped up in its warmth. Every row is crocheted by hand, slowly and thoughtfully, with the hope that it becomes part of everyday moments.

I can't wait to show you the finished blanket, but for now here's a little glimpse of what's on the hook 💕

Wool & Bear was created in memory of our beautiful cat, Bear, who filled our home with so much love.

To honour him, 10% of every purchase is donated to Cats Protection to help rescue, rehabilitate and rehome cats who need a second chance.

Every blanket I make has a very important quality control assistant...my little girl, Elowen 🥹

Before this pom pom blanket is finished, it has already passed the ultimate test - tiny hands, lots of squishes and plenty of cuddles.

Watching these handmade pieces come to life is one of my favourite parts of running Wool & Bear, and I can't wait to share the finished blanket with you.
