Both Easingwold Community Singers and Helmsley Arts Centre Singers have spaces for new singers. No auditions, no solos, no pressure, just enjoying singing with some really lovely people. So many smiling faces in my choirs.
When we're relaxed, happy, and enjoying ourselves, our bodies and minds allow ourselves to do so much more, whatever we're doing. That's one of the reasons my singers often achieve so much more than they could have imagined, and in some cases people who haven't sung for years find their voice.

I am excited to announce this fun, intergenerational singing session to mark the end of Summer hols at Easingwold Community Hub
So if you're a parent/grandparent/carer with kids of any age, or just a musical film fan who fancies a sing, this could be for you!
Ticket prices are flexible, with single tickets and various family options, all with a sliding scale so you can pay what you can afford.
Bringing different generations together in song is one of favourite things to do - the decades melt away through the power of music!
In this afternoon session we'll be touching on classic songs from Mary Poppins, The Sound of Music, and The Greatest Showman, and many more, including some catchy Disney tunes and maybe a bit of Matilda!

There are no ECS or HACS sessions in August, but our choir leader Jessa Liversidge has been busy buying some new arrangements for us! Who can guess the songs from these three clue pictures? We can't wait to get started on some new songs in September!
