I’ve had the dreamiest time in the studio recently because I’ve just hyper focused on making. No social media, no extras - just here doing what I love. Creating miniature porcelain animals and idyllic worlds to rest their paws in for an eternity. Here’s a few snaps I’ve just about managed to take amongst the joy of simply making. 🐺 🤍

I can get so caught up in the doing, the ticking of boxes, that I forget to stop and appreciate what I’ve made.

There never feels like there’s enough time but perhaps that’s wonderful, as it means there’s an incredibly long and abundant queue of ideas patiently waiting for their time in the sun.

So today I sat back to admire Mother Cow in her raw clay form. Her big beautiful wings and the intricate details of the lichen and grasses on her rock.

For a new diorama coming soon, until then she can be purchased individually. 💕🐮

Here’s an enchanted porcelain tree in the making - some time now to dry out, before it faces the magic of the kiln. 🌳 ✨

Kiln shelves are a good metaphor for life! You think you’re not moving very far or very fast - but of course you are. And before you know it you look down and can admire that shelf full to the brim of very intricate porcelain details!

The kilns going on tonight - it’s first firing of 2025!
