We are excited to announce that this year's Heather Scarecrow Festival raised just over £10,000, which includes the amazing £2666.30 raised by Lynda at her garage sale. In addition, local groups who hosted the pop-up Tea Room at the Village Hall, together with the Football Club, who had their own pop-up Tea Room, raised funds for their own groups.

We are grateful to all of our sponsors and supporters. Huge thanks to our scarecrow creators and volunteers. Thanks also to all of you who came and bought guides, refreshments, and stall items.

We still have these glasses. They were found at the Village Hall, but I have them at my home now. Message this page if you think they are yours. They look like a reading prescription.

In the meantime, we have a lady who lost a pair of varifocal glasses. Please let us know if you find some around the village.

1st Prize in the Schools, Nurseries and Youth Group Category is this year being sponsored by Conkers Visit Conkers who have kindly offered a self led school group visit for a class of up to 35 children.

The lucky winners of this fabulous first prize are Snarestone C of E Primary School for 'Sir Hay-vid Attenborough & Straw-ry Books.'

The 2nd prize of £75 plus Everyone Active activity vouchers goes to Heather Primary School for 'Sir David Strawenborough 100.'

The 3rd prize of £50 plus Everyone Active activity vouchers goes to Dove Bank Primary School for 'Stitch'.
