JANE GOODALL and FLINT (her chimpanzee) ... a slight diversion to the usual Autumn 🍂 and Christmas 🎄 crochet going on at the moment!
Our Granddaughter has started a project at school about Jane Goodall and so I just had to hook this dolly up for her. I wonder who she will be learning about next (and if there's a crochet pattern for it!!) X

An AMAZING couple of crochet groups this week, ladies, thankyou!
Here's a finished Sunflower 🌻 granny square pumpkin 🎃 by Julie Brendan Fields from our Friday morning group and a completed trio of pumpkins 🎃 by Anna Davidson from our Wednesday evening group. Plus, we have Anisa C Goodwin completed Halloween Bear 🐻, Adele Cawley-Rawdin ribbon Christmas 🎄 Tree and Celia Stevenson bobble stitch practice piece.
I have had quite a busy week. We're decorating at home and I have been painting bedroom furniture - olive 🫒 green 💚 it will be great to have a room refreshed for Christmas 🎄 i will share a pic 📸 once it's all put together. Needless to say, it's very much inspired by nature!
I have also been busying myself putting the Christmas Mystery Crochet-a-long sample together (for Saturday 7th November). Oh, and CHRISTMAS CROCHET KITS will be coming soon ...

There's a 🐻 in my kitchen....

Latest commission off the hook is this large bear 🐻 head 😀 It took 5 x 50g balls of Yarnsmiths Cotton Aran in shade "cuppa tea" (with a 4.5mm hook) with MASSIVE 24mm eyes .... isn't she lovely 😍 ❤️

ROSEHIP THE HARE crochet kit ... £25

everything you need* to crochet this adorable hare head us included in this brown Kraft drawer, which will come in so handy to keep all your bits and bobs safe as your work progresses. There is a large log slice included within the kit, upon which to mount the hare head and fix and display the leaves and Sunflower 🌻- all yarn is included within the box (for Rosehip) and inside the envelopes ✉️ for the smaller crocheted elements, as is quality fibrefill stuffing and a string of micro fairy lights.
*2.5MM crochet hook required*

I stayed behind after crochet group this afternoon to set up the room ready for our crochet workshop taking place at Sew Lovely tomorrow (10am until 4pm): I am sooooo excited and I cannot wait to welcome you all in and get you started with your autumnal hook-a-long ... GREAT Wednesday evening group tonight: thank you ladies, and I shall see most of you on Saturday for the Pumpkins and Toadstools Crochet Workshop xx
MEANWHILE for those of you at FRIDAY morning group who requested a small kit of the Toadstool Fairy and her Potted Sunflower 🌻 - I have delivered - and made up these 3 kits. I am able to make up a further two kits, which can be ready for payment and collection on Saturday, if anyone would like to order one. The price is a little more than expected, at £10, but still well worth the money 💰 The Sunflower 🌻 in your kit will be the same as the multi coloured one as shown on the box 📦 😀
WHEN I GOT HOME THIS EVENING, the rest of the yarn had arrived, ready for Saturday's workshop (see very large plasticky bag!!) and so I couldn't resist sorting through it: some wonderful colour combinations xx

BUSY AT CRAFTY HQ today, with admin, and writing up patterns ready for Saturday's Pumpkins and Toadstools Crochet Workshop at Sew Lovely 😍

I haven't been this excited about a Workshop in a while and I do hope some of my enthusiasm and creative vibes filter through to you.

ALL SPACES ARE FULL NOW, for this workshop, but why not pop your name down for the Christmas Mystery Crochet-a-long taking place in November? Ho, ho, ho, it's a good one!! 🎅
