Hawksby' is an independent Gallery/Shop, situated on the beautiful cobbled main street of Haworth, West Yorkshire, home of the famous Bronte family. Each item has been lovingly hand-selected to bring you quirky, unique and beautiful things. (Things to make you smile). Behind the traditional double fronted shop lies a cornucopia of delightful goodies, one we hope will continue to expand, enhance and enjoy.

Caroline Hudson’s work is still proudly adorning one of our windows. There are a few gaps now but there’s still chance to see the work (and of course add to your collection) for a few more weeks. They are just delightful.

Local artist Graham Barr has just dropped in a new collection of rather stunning original acrylic/mixed media canvases. So we stripped the back wall and teamed them up with the wonderous sculptures by David Mayne!

We’ve been showcasing these absolute beauts designed especially for us by the fabulous Claire at A Northern Light (Thank you Claire 😘) for a few months now. They are currently taking centre stage combined & complimented with the natural, earthy colours of the Leach Pottery 😍

The second of our new window displays for August features work by the fab duo Roy Hubbard (Painter/Illustrator) + Andrew Morrison (Poet/Printmaker) who have been friends for many yrs and collaborate to create beautiful artworks with equally beautiful poetry. Inspired by their walks mainly in the Pennines.

Paired up wonderfully with gorgeous new curlew lampshades by Claire at A Northern Light and the wonderous felt sculptures by Heather at Rowan Studio.

And if you are eagle eyed there are a few lovely little glass birds sitting in the corner by maker Sally Moore. With a Heron/Curlew/Pover & Lapwing.
