Check out these before and after photos of a recent install we completed.

We were tasked with completely revamping the sound and lighting in this lovely space to create a more functional space for visiting productions and artists.

As part of this we installed:
LED stage fixtures
Lighting Control Desk
LED Strip lighting down either side of the hall with wall panel control
Audio mixer
Wireless microphones
Bluetooth media player
DSP controlled amplifier to allow for easily switching presets
Patch points at the rear of the hall
Custom patch panels to allow for easy connections

I took a small PA system, with very limited vehicle space, it was quite necessary! I had Alto Professional TS112’s and Electro-Voice Sub to provide front of house audio. I took a Soundcraft Mixers Ui16 to mix FOH and monitors. I put all of the artists on in ear monitoring, largely to save space in vehicles, but also to clean up the sound as the venues were small and rather reverberant!

Had a great time doing a lot of driving in my beauty of car! Pleased to say she’s still on one piece!

But very happy to be back with my gorgeous wife. It’s always hard being away, but it does make the time we have together all the more precious. Kezia Purkiss

Had a lot of fun being on the road with Yliko this weekend. Big up WAVED for having us along to support, you guys were great! Loved getting to hear you and chat to you.
I'm excited to see what the future holds for both bands.

I found it really interesting seeing how much I've changed and progressed as a sound engineer since I was last doing small gigs.

We travelled with Sennheiser wireless and wired IEMs (we didn't use wedges at all, which makes a huge difference in such small venues = Happy Pete), and Sennheiser wireless vocal mics. The band were all DI'ed (We travelled with Orchid Electronics Micro and Stereo DI's) except the drum kit (so virtually no stage sound to contend with = Also happy Pete). We used house PA at both venues, one being Electro-Voice, the other being Funktion-One (Official). Had a Behringer X32 on the first night, and MIDAS Venice with outboard on the second. We fitted a 7 piece band (not with the smallest instrument set-ups) onto some of the smallest and most packed stages I've seen in quite some time, to say it was cosy on stage would be an understatement!

Both venue sound techs were very accommodating and helpful and seemed to love the band. Fingers crossed I always get house techs that are as nice 😂

It's always a privilege to see someone that you've trained mix well.

This is Andy, I've been training him slowly for the past few weeks to be able to mix, more specifically, mix on an Avid​ Profile desk. Today he mixed for the first time to the congregation of Life Church. He did a great job with lots of great comments!

Andy has been, and will continue to be, a star student! He's put in so much time and effort to learning what I'm teaching him. Excited to see what the future holds for this man!
