A little about me and my small buisness...
I have never known a time I have not picked up a pencil to draw. I have always shown an interest in art and drawing and the idea of starting a business where I could achieve this.
I decided to set myself a challenge to draw everyday. With my love for all animals and art, I decided to combine them together. And the idea of starting a buisness drawing peoples pet's came about. I started drawing my own dog, and as a Christmas present for my daughter in law I drew her own dogs. She posted them online and the rest was history...
When creating my customers pet portraits I use only the best materials when drawing pets portraits. The paper and pencils I use have a lightfastness that should not fade if looked after. Once a portrait is finished, I use a fixative which seals the picture and then placed in a hardback envelope so the drawing will not get damaged.
Advice for looking after Portraits:
โ Try not to put picture in direct sunlight, you will want your pets portrait not to be bleached by the sun shining through your window.
โTry not to leave above a radiator, if damp air gets into the frame it may warp the paper.
โIf possible, try and send a few clear pictures of your pet/animal so I can get the best drawing possible, more detail the better picture!
Thank you for reading, and thank you for the lovely comments and ongoing support.I am looking foward to draw plenty more of your fur babies in the near future โบ
Take care, stay safe.
