And...almost done. Just waiting for the bases to fully dry on some of these amazing 28mm figures, and some flocks and scenics will be added for a final touch. The Squirrel Bandit was from , the Warrior Mouse and assembled Wizards are from .

Moonhopper Base and Technical paints were used throughout, and we'll list each model with a painting list shortly over the next month. The grass on the base of the Bandit is Moonhopper's Weedy Scrub.

Both and produce a vast array of very high quality 3D prints. In all cases, they were dead easy to put on a base with superglue, and were primed with Light Grey Expo Primer before painting. An absolute joy to paint!

More tiny woodland warriors have arrived…and the detail on this Squirrel Bandit print from is absurd.

As stalwarts of Moonhopper Games's activities will know, we have recently been buying job lots of premium-quality 3D printed woodland miniatures, and this one is no exception to the others: this little chap is packed with personality from base to arrowtip. Our furry little assassin belongs in the middle of a muddy forest ambush or a tavern argument moments before any initiative has been rolled.

Perfect for indie fantasy gamers looking for something different from the usual mass battle lines, this citzen of the forest is ideal for skirmish games, RPG parties, or narrative woodland adventures.

Some paints make miniatures look heroic. Some paints make them look glorious.

Moonhopper Games’ Quagmire Brown technical paint makes them look like they’ve spent three weeks losing a war in a swamp - which, frankly, is far more entertaining.

Perfect for muddy boots, filthy tank tracks, churned battlefield bases, trenchworks, boggy terrain and deeply questionable life choices, Quagmire Brown adds instant texture and realism with wonderfully grimy results.

Slap it onto bases, dab it around ruined scenery, or mix it with Moonhopper washes and glazes for extra damp, swampy nastiness. Pair it with Hurdy Verdigris for ancient corroded ruins, Volcanic Lava for scorched wastelands, or metallics like Battle Bronze to create vehicles that have definitely not passed any kind of inspection in several centuries.

It’s especially brilliant for fantasy warbands, grimdark sci-fi armies, and terrain pieces that need that authentic “everything smells damp” finish.

Volcanic Rock creates scorched landscapes, lava fields and blackened battlefields worthy of dragons, daemons and overenthusiastic orbital bombardments. Fantastic for fantasy armies, infernal realms and volcanic sci-fi planets.
